Case Study 3: Events – Gyft
 

GOAL
Gyft is a mobile app which lets people manage their gift cards by ditching the plastic and using their mobile devices to store, send, and redeem the cards. They wanted to increase awareness of their brand through a public appearance from a social media celebrity.

STRATEGY
We had top social media influencer, Ronnie Banks, create posts letting his fans know he would be at Union Square in San Francisco along with Gyft. Once there, he did additional posts including a contest whereby fans could download the Gyft app, screenshot it and post it on their Instagrams tagging Gyft to possibly get a free $100 Gyft card.
